To give you an idea of how I work, I will explain how I completed this bathroom project step by step. Each project is, of course, different, but the method used here, gives a good general overview of my design process.

Step 1 - Identifying the requirements

I start by identifying the client's requirements. For this project, the clients wanted a bathtub, a spacious shower, a double sink, and to move the toilet out of the bathroom.

During this project, I did not visit the location. Everything was handled online through a contractor. The contractor provided me with the measurements and images of the space, which can be seen here.

Step 2 - Creating concept drawings

After step 1, the design process begins. I start by creating several 2D drawings with measurements and 3D drawings to give an impression of the layout and to ensure everything fits with enough room for movement.

For this project, I made two concept drawings. Next to this text, you can see an example of such a concept drawing. Of course, it is also possible to create more than two concept drawings, depending on the customer's wishes.

Step 3 - Creating the final design

To begin step 3, a choice needs to be made from the layouts in step 2. In this case, the left concept drawing shown above was preferred.

From this concept, I created a final design with the desired colors and materials and made artist impressions for a realistic view. One of these artist impressions can be found below. Would you like to see more? Take a look at my 'projects' page.

Step 4 - Documentation and handover

Once the final design is approved by the client, I start working on the documentation. I ensure that all colors, materials, and furniture are included in a clear and organized document so that the design can be effectively realized...
